It has only been two days, but so far the children have been doing very well. I feel more confident as a mother, and a housekeeper. My house is looking much better! My children are actually asking what they can do to help me. I am as caught up on laundry as I could possibly be, and have actually been getting some dusting done. Wonders never cease!:-)
And in case you were wondering, no, schoolwork hasn't suffered. In fact, my oldest finished one of her workbooks just today.
If this current method works 3 months from now the way it is working now, I will be very pleased.:-)

Our current chore method is that I put up chore cards for each of the children (on a wall hanging they each picked their own fabric for), and they must do those jobs to my (and/or my husband's) satisfaction, and with a good attitude. If they satisfactorily complete all they were given for that day, they get a Dad Dollar or Mom Money (printed with our pics on it, of course,lol). At the end of the week, we open a "store" where they can buy items with their money. Some items are little things for just a dollar, and other really nice things might even cost more than they can earn in 2 weeks. We will see if any of them try to save their money for those!:-)
So I guess you don't have time to make a system for me huh? lol
