That would be me! It has been so long since I have felt compelled to write here on my blog that I am sure no one has bothered checking for new posts anymore.:-)
But now that spring is truly here, and the flowers are blooming, and we have hope in our hearts and a spring in our steps, it is time for me to write again.
I have a handful of violets above my kitchen sink - white violets with pale purple centers. My middle daughter picked them for me yesterday, and they still look fresh. I am so thankful that God has so many flowers that bloom without any care from us! My yard is a lovely flower bed, with yellow, purple, and white blooms everywhere. The grass loved all the rain we got last week, and is now a lush, brilliant green. The lilac bushes I see out my back windows are filled with dark purple buds, and I am eagerly anticipating the lovely scent when they bloom. The crocuses are gone, the daffodils faded, but the vibrant colors of tulips are visible everywhere we go. I am so thankful for the beauty God has made, and the ability He has given us to appreciate it.

Summer plans? Move into a house, I hope! And it looks like we might be going to a wedding in Ohio the end of June. That's it!
